The bill would amend the Election Code to require the Secretary of State (SOS) to pay funds requested by a political party involved in a primary election to the county in which the primary elections were held. SOS indicated that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
