The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to payment of providers by certain entities under contract with a certified workers' compensation network.  The bill would allow an entity providing claims services or fulfilling bill processing obligations for a network to reimburse providers at the contracted rate as if the network was reimbursing the provider. Based on information provided by the Texas Department of Insurance, it is assumed that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of this bill could be absorbed within existing staff and resources.
