The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to employer access to the personal accounts of certain employees and job applicants through electronic communication devices; establishing an unlawful employment practice. Based on the analysis of the Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to employer access to the personal accounts of certain employees and job applicants through electronic communication devices; establishing an unlawful employment practice.
