The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to enter into a comprehensive development agreement (CDA) for segments of State Highway 114 and Loop 12 under the State Highway 183 managed lanes project. Based on the information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed that any costs or duties associated with executing a CDA under the provisions of the bill would be accommodated within existing resources and through the allocation of the agency's existing highway planning and construction appropriations. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
