                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 15, 2013      TO: Honorable René Oliveira, Chair, House Committee on Business & Industry      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3462 by Rodriguez, Eddie (Relating to the judicial review of a document or an instrument purporting to create a lien or claim.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to motions for judicial review of certain  fraudulent property liens. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill.    The change in law would apply only to a motion for judicial review of certain documents or instruments filed on or after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
