                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 22, 2013      TO: Honorable Joe Straus, Speaker of the House, House of Representatives      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3714 by Guerra (Relating to the creation of the Office of Small Business Assistance Advisory Task Force.), As Passed 2nd House    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code to create the Office of Small Business Assistance Advisory Task Force (task force), to be established by the Office of Small Business Assistance at the Office of the Governor. The bill would establish the duties, compensation, and composition of the task force, including the manner in which appointments to the task force are made and the duration of each member's term served. The Office of the Governor estimates there would be a minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill. This bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of each house; otherwise, it would take effect on September 1, 2013.
