The bill would require the Texas Education Agency to develop a caregiver's affidavit form consistent with the requirements of the bill and to make the form accessible on the Agency's website. The Agency would be directed to adopt rules to implement the provisions of the bill and ensure that schools and school districts accept the form. The Agency assumes that development of the form, Internet posting, and adoption of rules could be accomplished with existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
