The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to exemption from application of the Private Security Act of certain peace officers employed by a law enforcement agency. It is assumed that the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
