                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 1, 2013      TO: Honorable Joe Deshotel, Chair, House Committee On Land & Resource Management      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB622 by Eiland (Relating to the report by the General Land Office to the legislature on the effectiveness of the coastal management program.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would change the requirement that the General Land Office prepare a report on the effectiveness of the coastal management program from an annual requirement to a biennial requirement. Although requiring one fewer report from the agency may result in some cost savings to the agency, the savings is not anticipated to be significant.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
