                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 8, 2013      TO: Honorable Ryan Guillen, Chair, House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB629 by Larson (Relating to the regulation of dangerous wild animals.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend portions of the Health and Safety Code to add the American Sanctuary Association and the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries to those entities to which certain provisions do not apply. The bill amendments would not result in a fiscal implication to the state. The bill would take immediate effect if the bill receives two-thirds the vote of all members in both houses.  Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2013. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
