 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Alison Busse Savage has rendered exceptional
 service to Willacy County and the Lyford Consolidated Independent
 School District through her dedicated civic engagement; and
 WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of the county and a
 third-generation Lyford High School alumnus, Ms. Busse Savage
 maintains strong connections with the school district, where her
 two children are students and her husband is a teacher and coach;
 she also serves as president of the Willacy County Livestock Show
 and the Lyford FFA Alumni club, as the marketing and public
 relations committee chair for the Willacy County Relay for Life,
 and as a member of the board of directors for the Algodon Club;
 moreover, she was appointed by Judge John Gonzales as the 2011 chair
 of the Willacy County Centennial Committee; and
 WHEREAS, In her professional life, Ms. Busse Savage is an
 accounts executive with Time Warner Cable, and her work includes
 managing multimillion-dollar budgets and overseeing advertising,
 sales, and reports across multiple markets; in recognition of her
 achievements, she received the Rising Star Award for Women in
 Telecommunications in 2009; and
 WHEREAS, Alison Busse Savage has demonstrated a lasting
 commitment to making Willacy County an even better place in which to
 live and work, and in so doing, she has earned the deep respect and
 appreciation of her fellow residents; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
 Legislature hereby honor Alison Busse Savage for her service to
 Willacy County and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Busse Savage as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
