R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Rain Fresh Water Company of Garland received
best purified water honors at the 23rd Annual Berkeley Springs
International Water Tasting event in 2013; and
WHEREAS, This yearly competition takes place in the spa town
of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, and is the largest water
tasting event in the world; 11 judges selected among 82 waters from
21 states and 10 foreign countries, assessing the water choices on
criteria including appearance and taste; and
WHEREAS, The Rain Fresh Water Company specializes in
oxygen-rich purified water; the company has been a family owned and
operated business for nearly a quarter of a century; and
WHEREAS, The well-being of the people of Texas depends on a
vibrant, diversified economy, and independent businesses that
contribute to and reflect the spirit of their communities, such as
Rain Fresh, are to be commended for the essential role they play in
furthering the prosperity of the Lone Star State; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate the Rain Fresh Water Company of
Garland on winning the purified water competition at the 2013
Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting event and extend to
all those associated with the company sincere best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the company as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
