H.R. No. 1252
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, David and Juanita Bell of Lubbock celebrated their
65th wedding anniversary on March 3, 2013, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, David Bell and the former Juanita Norman exchanged
the vows of matrimony at a ceremony held in Lubbock in 1948, and
over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a
loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bell are the parents of three children,
Karanne Grubbs, Dave Bell, and the late Terri Bell, and through the
years their family has grown to include six grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren, with whom they treasure sharing many special
occasions; and
WHEREAS, For six and a half decades, Mr. and Mrs. Bell have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate David and Juanita Bell on their
65th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bell as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
