R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislature, Jason Briggs has ably
served his fellow Texans as legislative director in the office of
State Representative Jim Murphy; and
WHEREAS, The calm professionalism and close attention to
detail demonstrated by Mr. Briggs are greatly appreciated by his
colleagues, and his skill at shepherding legislation through the
process is a valuable asset that benefits all Texans; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Briggs has further distinguished himself
through his hard work with the House Interim Committee on
Manufacturing, which was chaired by Representative Murphy; and
WHEREAS, The experience and expertise that this esteemed
public employee brings to his duties as legislative director are
notable, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his
fine efforts; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby commend Jason Briggs for his service as
legislative director for Representative Jim Murphy and extend to
him warmest best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Briggs as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
