R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Ryan Ratcliff has been honored with a 2012-2013
Superior Teaching Achievements Recognition Award from the
Richardson Independent School District Excellence in Education
Foundation; and
WHEREAS, Each year since 1977, the RISD Excellence in
Education Foundation has presented STARS Awards to exemplary
Richardson teachers who have motivated young Texans to strive for
success; and
WHEREAS, Throughout his tenure at Parkhill Junior High
School, Mr. Ratcliff has helped the children in his classroom to
thrive by working to understand their individual needs and by
keeping them engaged in their studies; and
WHEREAS, Serving as role models and mentors, the best
educators bring to the classroom creativity, energy, and
resourcefulness; Ryan Ratcliff is one such teacher, and he has
inspired in his students a love of learning that will serve them
well throughout their lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Ryan Ratcliff on his receipt of a
STARS Teacher Recognition Award from the Richardson ISD Excellence
in Education Foundation and extend to this dedicated professional
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Ratcliff as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
