 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Jedidah Guerra
 has ably served her fellow Texans as a legislative intern in the
 office of State Representative Abel Herrero; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Guerra is a participant in the Texas Legislative
 Internship Program, and she has contributed to state government by
 assisting with legislation, acting as the primary scheduler in the
 office, and addressing the needs of constituents; juggling many
 responsibilities, she has been a valued asset to Representative
 Herrero even while completing her final semester at Baylor
 University, where she recently earned her bachelor's degree in
 political science; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Guerra has been a prominent student leader at
 Baylor as president of Kappa Delta Chi sorority, as a member of the
 Order of the Omega, and as the public relations officer for the
 Multicultural Greek Council; she has benefited her college and her
 community by participating in the 2012 Baylor Premiere and by
 tutoring students in Waco public schools; in summers past, she has
 further shared her time as an intern with the Iglesia Centro
 Cristiano in West Columbia, writing church newsletters, producing
 advertisements, and training volunteers as summer camp counselors;
 and
 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
 duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is
 indeed deserving of special recognition for her achievements; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Jedidah Guerra for her service as a
 legislative aide in the office of State Representative Abel Herrero
 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
 her endeavors; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Guerra as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
