 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Dr. Ronald Mayhorn of Seguin has made impressive
 contributions to his community and this state as a practicing
 anesthesiologist for 27 years; and
 WHEREAS, Ronald Mayhorn graduated from Michigan State
 University with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology,
 received his medical technologist certification from Baylor
 College of Medicine, and earned a doctor of medicine degree from The
 University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; and
 WHEREAS, After completing an internship in pediatrics and a
 residency in anesthesiology, Dr. Mayhorn began his notable tenure
 at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in 1987; he has chaired the
 anesthesiology department there for two decades and also served as
 GRMC's chief of medical staff; in addition to his responsibilities
 at the hospital, Dr. Mayhorn is the medical director and co-owner
 of the South Texas Surgical Center and a board member of the
 Guadalupe Healthcare Network; and
 WHEREAS, An active figure in his field, Dr. Mayhorn is a
 member of various professional societies, including the Guadalupe
 County Medical Society, the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce, the
 Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Society of
 Anesthesiologists; and
 WHEREAS, Dr. Ronald Mayhorn has garnered widespread respect
 and admiration, and he may indeed reflect with great pride on his
 many achievements; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
 Legislature hereby honor Dr. Ronald Mayhorn for his outstanding
 medical career and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
 success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Dr. Mayhorn as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
