H.R. No. 791
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
by a great and enduring love, Jessie and Bette Bost of Greenville
celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on February 12, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bost were united in matrimony in 1954;
since that time, they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has
been made even richer with the addition of their daughter, Terri
Dooley, as well as their two grandchildren, Adam Lynch and Laci
Boniface, and their great-grandchild, Mia Boniface; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bost is retired from Southwestern Bell
Telephone Company, and Mrs. Bost is retired from Citizens National
Bank; and
WHEREAS, While innumerable changes have taken place in the
world during the past 59 years, this devoted husband and wife have
remained constant in their commitment to each other, and the
strength of their love has enabled them to meet life's challenges
and opportunities with grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jessie and Bette Bost on their 59th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bost as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
