 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Lee Ann Johnson of Marble Falls was awarded the
 Certified Association Executive credential by the American Society
 of Association Executives on January 31, 2013; and
 WHEREAS, Established in 1960, the CAE designation is the
 highest that can be attained by an association professional; to
 earn this title, an applicant must have a minimum of three years of
 experience managing a nonprofit organization, complete at least 100
 hours of specialized career training, pass a rigorous examination,
 and pledge to uphold the CAE code of ethics; moreover, to maintain
 the credential, individuals must continue their involvement in
 nonprofit management and participate in ongoing studies and
 activities; and
 WHEREAS, The director of member services at the Texas Dental
 Association, Lee Ann Johnson has been employed in the industry for
 more than 25 years; before joining the TDA in 2001, she worked in
 the field services division of the Texas State Teachers
 Association; and
 WHEREAS, Through her achievement, Lee Ann Johnson has earned
 a place among the top five percent of association professionals,
 and in so doing, she has demonstrated a notable commitment to
 furthering her expertise and excelling in her field; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Lee Ann Johnson on her receipt of
 the Certified Association Executive credential from the American
 Society of Association Executives and extend to her sincere best
 wishes for continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Johnson as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
