                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            February 15, 2013      TO: Honorable Judith Zaffirini, Chair, Senate Committee on Government Organization      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB111 by Lucio (Relating to the preservation of Texas Historical Use Buildings.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code to add an additional use for the General Revenue-Dedicated Texas Preservation Trust Fund Account No.664, a fund administered by the Texas Historical Commission, and include financial assistance related to a Texas Historical Use building. It is assumed that the Historical Commission would need to update agency rules, guidelines, and grant applications; however, it is anticipated the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State and could be absorbed within existing resources.
