The bill would amend the Government Code to add an additional use for the General Revenue-Dedicated Texas Preservation Trust Fund Account No.664, a fund administered by the Texas Historical Commission, and include financial assistance related to a Texas Historical Use building. It is assumed that the Historical Commission would need to update agency rules, guidelines, and grant applications; however, it is anticipated the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State and could be absorbed within existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
