This bill would implement a recommendation in the report, "Modify the High-Cost Gas Tax-Rate Reduction to Increase its Cost Transparency and Effectiveness" in the Legislative Budget Board's Government Effectivenss and Efficiency Report submitted to the Eighty-third Texas Legislature, 2013. The bill would modify the requirements for which taxes are included in the biennial Tax Exemptions and Tax Incidence report. The Comptroller of Public Accounts reports this would not have a fiscal impact to the agency or the state.
