This bill would implement a recommendation in the report, "Modify the High-Cost Gas Tax-Rate Reduction to Increase its Cost Transparency and Effectiveness" in the Legislative Budget Board's Government Effectivenss and Efficiency Report submitted to the Eighty-third Texas Legislature, 2013. The bill would modify the requirements for which taxes are included in the biennial Tax Exemptions and Tax Incidence report.
