The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the creation of a standard request form for prior authorization of health care services.  The bill would establish requirements relating to the use of a standard request form for preauthorization of health care services. Based on information provided by the Texas Department of Insurance, UT System Administration, Texas A&M University System Administration, it is assumed that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing staff and resources.  Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the creation of a standard request form for prior authorization of health care services.
