The bill would amend the Family Code as it relates to assistance and education regarding personal finance for certain children in foster care. The bill would require a foster care provider to provide a financial literacy education program; elements of the program are specified. The Department of Family and Protective Services does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact as a result of complying with the provisions of the bill. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
