                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 10, 2013      TO: Honorable Bob Deuell, Chair, Senate Committee on Economic Development      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1636 by Deuell (Relating to the facilitation and operation of space flight activities in this state.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code and the Local Government Code in relation to the operation and liability of space flight activities. To the extent the bill would modify liabilities of space flight entities, no increase in judicial workloads or fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
