The bill would amend the Government Code as it relates to the jurisdiction of county courts at law in Harrison County, assignment and transfer of certain cases within Harrison County, and certain jury requests. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact resulting from the provisions of the bill. The bill would take effect January 1, 2015.
