The bill would amend the Government Code to provide for circumstances in which property other than Lot No. 5, Division B, City of Austin, Travis County, Texas is no longer dedicated for cemetery purposes as part of the State Cemetery and to change an eligibility requirement for an individual to be buried in the State Cemetery. The Texas Facilities Commission indicates the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources. This bill would take on September 1, 2013. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
