The bill would modify Chapter 166 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to certain advance directives and health care and treatment decisions. The Department of State Health Services has indicated that the bill would only require the agency to promulgate rules and that this could be carried out with existing resources.  Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
