The bill would modify Human Resources Code, Chapter 42, to exempt child care facilities from submitting required information under certain conditions if the department has a recent background or criminal history check on file for the desired parties. The Department of Family and Protective Services does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact as a result of implementing the provisions of the bill.
