The bill would amend the Government Code relating to relating to contested cases conducted under the Administrative Procedure Act. Based on information provided by Department of Licensing and Regulation, Department of Insurance, State Office of Administrative Hearings, Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Texas Medical Board, Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, Department of Public Safety, Commission on Environmental Quality, Comptroller of Public Accounts, Office of the Attorney General, and the Department of Aging and Disability Services, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
