The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize a disabled veterans license plate issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) upon request to include one emblem of a veteran's branch of service or one emblem from another license plate to which the person is entitled under Sections 504.308, 504.315, or 504.316 of the Transportation Code.  Based on the information provided by the DMV, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
