The bill would amend the Family Code to specify that certain court, probation, and prosecutorial records and files available for inspection are also available for copying. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in each house, otherwise September 1, 2013. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
