The bill would amend the Natural Resources Code relating to certified and insured prescribed burn managers. The bill would amend statute noting prescribed burn managers as certified and insured prescribed burn mangers. The bill also clarifies minimum insurance requirements for prescribed burn managers by citing Sec. 153.082, Natural Resources Code, which establishes minimum insurance requirements. No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.
