Lewis, Chair, House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB723 by Taylor (Relating to the location of certain public sales of real property.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code, Property Code, and Tax Code relating to the location of certain public sales of real property. Under provisions of the bill, county commissioners courts could designate an area other than an area at the county courthouse where certain public sales of real property could take place. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
