The bill would amend statute to expand victim compensation eligibility and specifies that the Office of the Attorney General would approve certain evidence collection kits and the sexual assault nurse examiner training course. The Office of the Attorney General would need to update agency training material, rules, and guidelines; however, it is anticipated that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
