The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the use of e-mail and website technology by the Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Based on information provided by TDLR, it is assumed that the agency would realize a cost savings from a reduction of postcards sent out to TDLR's licensee population each year; however, it is also assumed that the amount of cost savings would not have an impact on revenues to the State. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
