The bill would make changes to notice requirements relating to proposed gas utility rate increases. It would add e-mail notice to each directly affected customer, if the customer consents in writing to the use of e-mail for that purpose, as a notification option. Passage of the bill is not expected to have a significant fiscal impact on the Railroad Commission.
