SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1020 In Memory of Rudolph G. Suniga WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and commemorates the life of Rudolph G. Suniga, who died April 12, 2013, at the age of 61; and WHEREAS, Rudy Suniga was born on June 23, 1951, in Gonzales; he graduated from Fox Tech High School in San Antonio in 1970, and he joined the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country; and WHEREAS, He enjoyed spending time with his fellow veterans at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 76, and he was an active member of the GI Forum; and WHEREAS, A man of integrity, courage, and generosity, Mr. Suniga gave unselfishly of his time and energy to others, and he will be dearly missed by his loving family and his many friends; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Rudolph G. Suniga; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Rudy Suniga.
