No. 155 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Audra Dannette Rauh graduated as salutatorian of the Class of 2013 at River Road High School in Amarillo on June 7, 2013; and WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, Ms. Rauh demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to her studies are myriad; and WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being recognized as one of the two highest achieving students in her class, Ms. Rauh gained the opportunity to address her fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on their shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions for the future; and WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents William and Deborah Rauh, Audra Dannette Rauh has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates at River Road High School, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Audra Dannette Rauh, salutatorian of the River Road High School Class of 2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Rauh as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
