R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jordan Molnar of Panhandle High School achieved an
impressive success by taking part in the 2013 University
Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet in the 1A Division 1
girls' long jump event; and
WHEREAS, Joining the top competitors in Texas at Mike
A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 10, Ms. Molnar turned in a notable
performance; she recorded a distance of 17 feet, 4.5 inches, to earn
fourth place and came very close to claiming a spot on the podium;
and
WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for
high school track and field athletes, Jordan Molnar has ably
represented her school, and she may cherish her memories of this
notable accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Jordan Molnar
on her fourth-place finish in the 1A Division 1 girls' long jump
competition at the UIL Track & Field State Meet and extend to her
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Molnar as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
