H.R. No. 198
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rosemary and Gerald Fulton of Lubbock celebrated
their 60th wedding anniversary on June 11, 2013, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Gerald Fulton and the former Rosemary Fredricks
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Lubbock in 1953, and over the
course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving
life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Fulton count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their children, Teresa Henderson and her
husband, Rick, Jennifer Huff, Lisa Fulton, and Gerald L. T. Fulton,
as well as their six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren,
with whom they treasure sharing many special occasions; and
WHEREAS, For six decades, Mr. and Mrs. Fulton have brought to
their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Rosemary and
Gerald Fulton on their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Fulton as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
