SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 31
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Betty Nana Esi Abban and Daniel Kafui Obimpeh on the
joyful occasion of their marriage on Saturday, May 25, 2013; and
WHEREAS, The solemnization of Holy Matrimony took place at
Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Houston at one o'clock in
the afternoon; and
WHEREAS, The bride and groom are both from distinguished
families, and the relatives and friends of Betty and Daniel are
elated about the nuptials; the bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Francis Poku, and the groom's parents are Commodore and Mrs.
Steve Obimpeh; and
WHEREAS,
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Betty Nana
Esi Abban and Daniel Kafui Obimpeh on this special occasion and
extend to them best wishes for much happiness in the future; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
honor of this event.
