                    SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 64
 In Memory
 of
 John Francis Anthony Carnesi
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
 commemorates the life of John Francis Anthony Carnesi, who died
 February 20, 2013, at the age of 55; and
 WHEREAS, John Carnesi was an exemplary citizen who was
 widely admired in his community for his many achievements; and
 WHEREAS, He was known for his multiple talents and his
 ability to repair or build almost anything; whether it was
 carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, or painting that was
 needed, he gave willingly of his time to help his friends and
 family with their projects; and
 WHEREAS, His appreciation for music played a large role in
 his life, and he was an accomplished guitarist; and
 WHEREAS, A devout Catholic who practiced his faith in his
 daily life, he was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Church in
 Brownsville; and
 WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he
 gave generously to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued
 counsel will not be forgotten; and
 WHEREAS, He was devoted to his children and to his large
 and loving extended family, and he leaves behind memories that
 will be cherished forever by his family and many friends; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend sincere
 condolences to the bereaved family of John Francis Anthony
 Carnesi; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
 Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
 memory of John Carnesi.
