Dutton, Jr., Chair, House Committee on Juvenile Justice & Family Issues FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE:HB107 by White, James (Relating to the fine imposed on a student convicted of truancy.), As Introduced No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would change the maximum fine for an offense of failure to attend school from $500 to $20 per offense. Fine revenue is kept locally, not sent to the state, therefore this change would have no cost to the state.
