                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 23, 2015      TO: Honorable Ryan Guillen, Chair, House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1147 by Kacal (Relating to the operation of all-terrain vehicles and recreational off-highway vehicles.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code as it relates to all-terrain vehicles, including specifying conditions for use by emergency services personnel. Based on the analysis of the Department of Public Safety, implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
