The bill would amend Local Government Code definitions related to energy savings performance contracts, including provisions related to utility cost savings, a contract related to a pilot program described in the bill and certain alternative fuel programs. Texas A&M reports that no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated as a result of the bill. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
