                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 14, 2015      TO: Honorable Drew Darby, Chair, House Committee on Energy Resources      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1331 by King, Phil (Relating to the treatment and recycling for beneficial use of certain waste arising out of or incidental to the drilling for or production of oil or gas.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Natural Resources Code related to oil and gas waste transferred and treated for subsequent beneficial use. Based on the analysis of the Railroad Commission, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
