The bill would amend Section 502.453 of the Transportation Code to exempt vehicles owned by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary from payment of registration fees under Chapter 502.Based on the information and analysis provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Comptroller's office, it is assumed implementation of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the state. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
