                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 18, 2015      TO: Honorable Joseph Pickett, Chair, House Committee on Transportation      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1605 by Martinez, "Mando" (Relating to the fee charged for the Texas Airport Directory.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code to specify that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) may not charge a fee for furnishing the Texas Airport Directory. The bill would repeal Section 21.004, Transportation Code, which establishes the Texas Aviation Operating Account in the State Highway Fund to receive money from the sale of advertising in the Texas Airport Directory.Based on the analysis and information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the state.
