The bill would create a joint interim committee, comprised of certain members of the Senate andHouse of Representatives, to study the feasibility and desirability of creating and maintaining acoastal barrier system. The bill would require the committee to provide a report on its findings andany recommendations to the governor and the legislature no later than December 1, 2016.The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
