                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 20, 2015      TO: Honorable Larry Phillips, Chair, House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1832 by Pickett (Relating to the requirements for and confidentiality of state agency continuity of operations plans.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Labor Code and Government Code allowing certain agency plans to be exempt from disclosure. The State Office of Risk Management indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources. The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in each house.  Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
